A bath that combines the properties of two treatments - a brine bath and a peat bath.
The treatment is based on natural brine extracted from underground deposits in Kołobrzeg, rich in many valuable ingredients for treatment processes, including sodium, chlorine, magnesium, calcium, bromine and iodine. Additionally, the bath is enriched with therapeutic peloid in the form of peloid concentrate - containing all active substances isolated from peloid while maintaining its therapeutic properties.
The basic action of brines comes down to the processes taking place in the superficial layers of the skin, where the perception of pain is reduced. The components of the brine penetrating into the tissues cause a multiple effect on the functioning of organs and the nervous system. Additionally, thanks to peloid lye, the treatment properties increase, causing relaxation of contracted joint capsules as well as periarticular ligaments and tissues. The reconstruction of damaged joint elements resulting from the disease process and as a result of surgery is accelerated.
After bathing, the skin temperature increases by about 0.7 degrees Celsius, which lasts up to three hours, causing the skin's blood vessels to widen.
