Hot tub salt spring hydro massage is a treatment carried out in a 4-person tub. Such tub is called whirlpool tub and is located in the swimming pool area (in our facility). In the morning the whirlpool tub is used for medical treatment, whereas in the afternoon swimming pool guests may use it without any additional charges. The tub features nozzles into which water and air is pumped, creating a kind of whirlpool. The tub is filled with saline solution – saline water from Kołobrzeg containing about 3 g of salt per liter – at a temperature of 38-40 degree Celsius. The primary effect of saline water is the alleviation of pain. Additionally, the hydro massage works on soft tissues. The combination of the two treatments brings on a double effect of improvement of blood circulation, reduction of muscle tension and improvement of joint mobility.
