This treatment involves a strong water stream of high pressure (up to 3 atm.) which is applied to the patient who is standing at a distance from the device called a stand-alone shower operation unit. The water temperature is ca. 400C. At the end of the treatment, cold water of ca. 200C may be applied for a short time (20 – 30 sec.)
